Alyson Weaver is an Academic Program Services Specialist for the CLLC and the building coordinator of Hagerty Hall. She supports the administration and operation of the CLLC’s language placement testing and helps to maintain and grow the CAAP program via high school recruitment, presentations, and info sessions. She takes on these duties with delightful dedication because they align nicely with her personal philosophies rooted in appreciation for language acquisition and cultural exploration.  

Alyson double majored in French and English at the University of Texas at Austin and went on to earn an MA in Foreign Language Education. She spent 3 different years abroad, twice as an English teaching assistant with TAPIF (in central France and later in Martinique), and once as a jeune fille au pair (nanny) in Paris. Her interests include cooking with friends, reading, writing cards and letters, making art, and exploring new places.
