The World Language Welcome Party is hosted once a semester. In the Fall it is for 1103 students, and in the Spring it is for 1101 students. The event begins with an informational session hosted by our director, Janice Aski, about the importance of intercultural competence, the workforce and world language, and scholarships available to our world language students. Then students have the opportunity to attend a breakout room with their department to talk more about majors, minors, study abroad, and scholarships. Students get to meet faculty, current students, and language-club members. Finally, we celebrate language learning with delicious food, international music, and games! Join us for our next event!
