The American Sign Language Program welcomes Carol Padden, professor in the Department of Communication at UC San Diego and recipient of the 2010 MacArthur Foundation Fellowship, to share her research on “Discovering New Sign Languages Around the World”. ASL-English interpreting and transcribing provided. Event funded by the Local Lecturer Support Grant from The University Center for the Advancement of Teaching. Registration is required for this free event.
