Global Gallery, Hagerty Hall Lobby

Check out Global Gallery’s new exhibit in Hagerty Hall which presents a brief history of kimono fashion, including contemporary use. It presents samples of prominent arts and crafts from various parts of Japan and illustrates putting on a kimono, a process that is not second nature to most young Japanese. It also shows samples of kimono from the personal collection of the late Reiko Noda (1928-2012). The exhibit is on view now until April 30.
