Ohio State is in the process of revising websites and program materials to accurately reflect compliance with the law. While this work occurs, language referencing protected class status or other activities prohibited by Ohio Senate Bill 1 may still appear in some places. However, all programs and activities are being administered in compliance with federal and state law.

Associated Faculty and Professors of Teaching Funding

The CLLC will award grants up to $1,000.00 each to selected Associated Faculty or Professors of Teaching in languages, literatures and cultures to support travel to conferences, research, or certification until current funds are exhausted.

Applicants may only apply for these funds once for their project.  Continuations of the same project are not granted.

These award funds expire one year from awarded date and if unused must be returned. If an extension of one year is needed, it can be requested.

These funds are limited. First come first served.

Both funds are available to Associated Faculty and Professors of Teaching in CLLC Consortium member departments below:

Department of East Asian Languages and Literatures
Department of French and Italian
Department of Germanic Languages and Literatures
Department of Near Eastern and South Asian Languages and Cultures
Department of Slavic and East European Languages and Cultures

Department of Comparative Studies

Note: Applicants may apply for multiple different grants (through the CLLC website) for the same research project/program/conference. However, please note that if an applicant receives a grant (with the earlier deadline), the second award will be given to the same applicant only if funds are available after the award decisions have been made, and provided the applicant has not exceeded their requested budget with all funding sources.
