Eight Ohio State students awarded 2020 Huntington Fellowships

Eight Ohio State students have received the 2020 Huntington International Fellowship to expand their knowledge of a world language and culture. 

Huntington National Bank has pledged more than $300,000 to The Ohio State University Campaign in the form of an endowed fund to benefit students in the humanities interested in international business and world languages.

The fellowship recipients include:

  • Emily Needham, a history; philosophy, politics and economics (PPE) major and a dance and German minor
  • Elizabeth Wigal, a Spanish major and international business minor
  • Michala Stewart, an international studies major and German minor
  • Mera Cronbaugh, an economics and Russian major and consumer and family financial services minor
  • Cailyn Boyd, a French and communication major
  • Nicholas Castle, an economics major and Japanese minor
  • Becca Kona-Stanciu, an international business and Spanish major
  • Lily Triplett-Boyd, an English major and French minor
