Spring Celebrations in East Asian exhibit

Explore the springtime rituals and festivities in China, Korea and Japan that can be traced back several millennia in the latest Global Gallery exhibit, “Spring Celebrations in East Asia.”

The exhibition was originally slated for display in the Global Gallery at Hagerty Hall to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the Department of East Asian Languages and Literatures at Ohio State, which was founded in 1970. Department leaders canceled the 50th anniversary celebration in April following the COVID-19 rules on large gatherings.

Celebration organizers decided to move the exhibit online for a virtual experience.
