New Interacitve Kiosk In the Crane Cafe

CLLC Interactive Kiosk

The Center for Languages, Literatures and Cultures is excited to announce the release of the new interactive kiosk in the Crane Cafe. This new version gives the students and other users the opportunity to sample various language learning apps and games. These apps have been carefully selected with help from various faculty and staff and encompass a wide range of language learning styles. While some of these apps are available for free download, others are paid subscriptions and give the users an opportunity to "try-out" these apps before they can download them to their own devices.

Popular language learning apps like Duolingo, Babel, and Memrise have been included in this kiosk giving users and opportunity to try these out and determine which of these suit their own learning style. Students can practice their language skills on these award-winning apps that use native speakers and successful conversation strategies.  Games like Babadum and World Geography allow the users to spend a few moments brushing up their language skills or learning about the world as they wait for their beverage or food in the Crane Cafe. The kiosk is located in the east end of the Crane Cafe, by the waiting area, and is free-to-play for all patrons.
