Boren

Boren Scholars and Fellows study a wide range of critical languages, including Arabic, Chinese, Portuguese, and Swahili. Boren Awards are available to students of all proficiency levels who are committed to enhancing their skills. Contact Rebecca Bias in the CLLC for more information about these programs.

Mya Boren Winner

Maya Maurer, NSEP Boren Scholarship

During the academic year of 2022-2023, Maya will study at Sogang University located in Seoul, South Korea.

Collin Boren winner

Collin Trissel, NSEP Boren Fellowship

During the summer of 2023 Collin will study at The University of Wisconsin, Madison for Elementary Turkish as well as survival Azeri language classes, then travel to Azerbaijan University of Language (AUL) in Baku, Azerbaijan through the American Councils for International Education.
