On Wednesday, October 29th, the CLLC and Computer Science and Engineering hosted the World Language Appathon Kickoff Event at the Emerging Technology Studio. 30 students attended to launch this month-long interdisciplinary project, bringing their ideas to develop interactive language-learning apps using VR technology. At the kickoff, participants also had the chance to view examples of past VR projects for inspiration.
 

The teams will present their finished apps at the Appathon Showcase on Friday, November 21st, from 6:00PM-8:00PM in the Barnett Collaboratory in Sullivant Hall. The showcase is free and open to the public - all are welcome!
