Nina Haviernikova is the Program Coordinator for the Individualized Instruction Learning Center (IILC), which currently houses the individualized programs for six languages: Chinese, French, German, Japanese, Korean, and Russian, as well as the online language courses in French, German, and Russian. Nina also assists with language placement testing.
Nina obtained her Ph.D. from the Department of Slavic and East European Languages and Cultures at the Ohio State University. She has extensive experience in foreign language teaching and learning and program management. Prior to coming to the Ohio State, she served as the Slovak Studies program coordinator at the Hankuk University of Foreign Studies in South Korea, and as a language instructor at the Comenius University in Slovakia.
