Becoming a World Language Teacher at OSU
Learn about the variety of undergraduate and graduate programs that will prepare you to teach a world language in K-12 schools in Ohio and beyond! Meet practicing world language teachers and learn about their experiences in the classroom.
Program options include:
Bachelor of Science in Education (Double Major) in French, Spanish, German, and Italian
Master of Education
in Arabic, Chinese, French, German, Italian, Japanese, Russian, and Spanish
Are you eager to share your experiences and appreciation of world languages and cultures with K-12 students? Would you like your students to interact, make cultural connections, and get things done in their new language? Candidates in our World Language Education programs learn to engage students communicatively in the target language, and candidates earn their Ohio teaching license in a variety of languages.
If you require an accommodation such as live captioning or interpretation to participate in this event, please contact Center for Languages, Literatures, and Cultures at cllc@osu.edu or 614-292-4361 to leave a voicemail.
