Julia Mains serves as the Media and Recruitment Coordinator for the Center for Languages, Literatures and Cultures. She is responsible for all media and communication endeavors within the CLLC, managing the Hagerty Happenings Newsletter and coordinating recruitment events such as Buckeye World Language Day and the CLLC's biannual elementary world language celebrations. 

Julia had the privilege of studying abroad and interning in Italy in 2013 and 2014, which greatly influenced her academic journey, and she graduated from OSU in 2015 with dual BAs in Italian and History, accompanied by a minor in English. 

In her free time, Julia enjoys getting lost in a good book, playing the mandolin, and spending quality time with her Italian Greyhound, Galileo.
