CLLC Graduate Student Grants

Grants have been awarded for Summer & Fall 2024.

 

The CLLC will award Research Grants for the following semesters: ​

  • Spring 2024: 4 grants for up to $600 will be awarded (Applications open on September 15th 2023; Application deadline is October 15th, 2023; Decisions will be made and funds will be awarded by November 5th, 2023)​

  • Summer 2024: 4 grants for up to $600 will be awarded (Applications open on January 22nd 2024; Application deadline is February 20th, 2024; Decisions will be made and funds will be awarded by March 30th, 2024)​

  • Fall 2024: 4 grants for up to $600 will be awarded (Applications open on January 22nd 2024; Application deadline is February 20th, 2024; Decisions will be made and funds will be awarded by March 30th, 2024)​

Please instruct your referral to email the recommendation letter to cllc@osu.edu by the deadline.​

 

Documentation required:

  • 350-word statement describing how participating in the research study contributes to your academic and future career goals.
  • OSU transcript (Advising Report accepted)
  • Two letters of recommendation from professors that (a) describe the suitability of the research study to the student's needs and goals and (b) attest to student's progress toward degree and overall commitment to the research study.

Note: Applicants may apply for multiple grants (through the CLLC website) for the same research project/program/conference. However, please note that if an applicant receives a grant (with the earlier deadline), the second award will be given to the same applicant only if funds are available after the award decisions have been made, and provided the applicant has *not* exceeded their requested budget with *all* funding sources.
